Options of development of partial functions of pre-school children Abstract This thesis is focused on issue of the development of partial functions in preschool age and mapping of the course of development of partial functions in kindergartens in Karlovy Vary Region and Prague. The task of the theoretical part is to define the notions of partial functions and partial functions deficits and to explain their relationship to specific learning disabilities. It describes the characteristics of preschool age and options of development of partial functions in its course. It includes basic information about school maturity, pedagogical- psychological diagnostics of children in kindergartens. It mentions also the child's enrollment in the first grade of primary school and school attendance delay. The aim of practical part is to map the access of kindergarten teachers to options of development of partial functions in Karlovy Vary Region and Prague, comparing the survey results obtained in these two regions and supplement obtained data with the information gathered from the interview. This essay discusses about the children's drawings as a tool for educational and psychological assessment. The essay describes about the historical interest in children's drawing, which is the period of preschool age from the perspective of development psychology. This is the most important period when the child uses drawing as a communication and diagnostic tool. It also focuses on the use of children's drawings in the pedagogical-psychological diagnostics. It also include developmental traits of children's drawings, interpretation and drawing tests.

This thesis entitled "Teachers and their possibilities of building pupils' self- realization" is both, theoretical and empirical. Its objective is to map the problems of pupils' self-realization in school environment. It pays close attention to the self-realization of pupils and the possibilities of its shaping by people participating on the educational process. The thesis attempts to define the likely causes of pupils' failure to succeed and do well at school. It also provides possible solutions which might help shape pupils' personality and build their self-realization. The solutions might be of great use to teachers in their classes. The objective of the empirical part in the first place is to analyze the connection between pupils' self- realization, teachers' assessment of pupils' self-realization and pupils' attainment. The Development of child drawing and it is potential in diagnostics The theoretical part of my thesis deals with the development of children's drawing and its subsequent interpretations. The drawing is defined in the thesis together with its development, patterns and peculiarities. The thesis is based on findings from the specialised literature that characterize children's development and its origins in the artwork and school age. Emphasis is also placed on tests to evaluate school readiness, child's overall development and psychological condition. The contribution of the teaching profession at primary school is maximized. The practical part includes the analysis of children's drawings normal and enchanted family, human character and favorite activities or interests in terms of pedagogical-psychological diagnosis. The drawings are complemented by other methods, such as interview, observation of the child and questionnaires for parents and teachers used to approach family background and medical history of the child.
Anxiety an Fear at School

The objective of this thesis "Anxiety And Fear At School" is to further reasearch how and when teachers feel ready and able to recognize an anxious child at school and as well to be able to work with a child whose anxiety may be caused by a specific situation at school. The thesis researches school as a potential source of anxiety and fear and describes specific situations which may cause or contribute to this phenomenon. In addition, a current issue which is outlined in the text is pedagogical-psychological diagnostics and related diagnostic competence of teachers. Theoretical findings are supported by research conducted amongst teachers. Two case studies of students which have experienced fear and anxiety at school, connected to specific school situations are provided. These case studies observe the solutions in those situations, as well as the impact of the experience on the students in question. The education of teachers at universities in the field of pedagogical-psychological diagnosis can in certain cases be insufficient and sometimes can also be difficult to apply in real life situations. Preparation of child for primary school entrance.

This bachelor thesis is focused on preparing children for elementary school and aims to map the risks for the future development of reading and writing skills and to suggest the ways and actions through which it is possible to reduce these risks in the regular kindergarten. The theoretical part focuses on preschool children's individual areas of perceptual and cognitive functions that influence early academic skills such as reading and writing. Further explains the concepts of school maturity and preparedness, as well as the diagnostics. The practical part consists of a qualitative survey of ten preschool children. During this survey children were monitored at selected variables, such as phonological and morphological abilities, working memory, speech, visual perception and intermodal encoding using test batteries. The work is part of a larger project, "Predictors of reading skills as factors influencing the development of literacy."
Pupil´s attitude to economic subjects at business academies

The master's thesis is focused on business academy pupil's attitude to economic subjects, specifically economics and accounting. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical framework and empirical research. The theoretical part deals with key concepts, i.e. attitudes, motivation, evaluation and pedagogical-psychological diagnostics as well as with individual criteria for the attitude research. These criteria are subsequently applied in the empirical part which is based on more than 1.700 pupil's responses from 30 business academies. The applied criteria are also analyzed within individual school grades and the resulting trend is examined. Economic subjects are viewed in relation to other compulsory subjects at business academies.
